International or National Driving license in any other language other than Arabic and English should be translated into Arabic or English. The translation should be attested by the Embassy.

4. Credit card rule

Credit card* (valid for the next 3 months minimum)

The same credit card is not allowed to be used on 2 or more concurrent rentals.

5. Usage of vehicles: -

Hirer commits and agrees that he won’t allow anybody to drive the rented vehicle unless been authorized by Honest Rent A Car L.L.C.
The renter agrees to disclose the location of the vehicle upon request and allow the company or its representatives to inspect the vehicle at all reasonable times and for the purpose to allow entry into any land/Premise where the vehicle is located/Stored.
A vehicle will not be accepted by Honest Rent A Car LLC UAE during holidays and weekends. Monthly rental and daily charges will be continued until the office opens.
It is not possible to extend agreements opened for daily or weekly rental periods to a monthly agreement. The vehicle will not be used for transportation of any illegal substances. In case of confiscation of vehicle, the hirer is responsible for payment of all damages to the owner i.e. full value of vehicles, fine claims of passengers or third party and loss of income.

6. Driving Restrictions: -

The hirer is prohibited from using the vehicle under the following conditions and activities:

Alcohol or drugs have been consumed by the hirer.
Driving off-road, racing, or towing another vehicle.
For Re-renting.
if the vehicle will not be able to handle the terrain or road;
At rallies, off-road events, or racing events.
Other activities that are considered illegal in the UAE.

There is no vehicle insurance coverage for any accidents or damages resulting from the above situations. If the hirer violated this rule, he or she would be liable to pay for the total damages to the vehicle as well as any ancillary damages.

7.Restrictions on license eligibility and age: -

Age restrictions apply when renting a vehicle from Honest Rent A Car LLC: Minimum – 23 Years oldMaximum – 60 Years old
An accident claim will be considered valid if the driver's license is more than one year old.

8. parallel Agreements:

The hirer is not permitted to rent more than one vehicle at the same time or under another family member's name. Honest rent a Car LLC reserve the right to refuse the new booking if the hirer already has an existing rental that coincides with the planned pick-up date for a new booking.

9.Minimum Rental Period: -

Rental periods of 1 day (24 hours) are required. Rentals by the hour are not accepted.

10.Vehicle Check In: -

At the time of vehicle’s off-hire, the cost of any un-reported damage/s as well as damages with no police reports, would be fully charged to hires/rental.

11.Early Return: -

Rental refund tis not applicable in case of an early return on the cars as per the agreement contract prepaid.

12. Toll gates (Salik and Darb): -

Lessees responsible for crossing Darb and Salik will be charged the actual fee plus 1 AED extra per crossing.

13. Traffic Fine:

It is the hire's responsibility to pay traffic fines and to be charged for the actual fine amount and a service charge of 10%.

14. Fee paid upon impediment: -

If the vehicle is impounded, the customer is also responsible for the impounding fee and rental loss, as well as for a 10% service charge on the impounding fee.

15. Parking Fee: -

During the rental period, the hirer is responsible for registering the vehicle for paid parking and for all parking charges related to the vehicle.

16. Fuel Policy: -

Upon returning the vehicle, the Hirer should return it with the same level of fuel that is given by the company. Upon failure to do so, the hirer will be charged the cost of the fuel plus a service fee.

17. Additional Services: -

On request and subject to availability, children's/baby's seats and strollers are available. Car seats: 30/AED a day, strollers 50/AED a day.

18. Driving outside UAE and Off-road Driving: -

Off-road use of the vehicle isn't covered by the policy, so the policyholder is liable for any damage or charges incurred as a result. The hirer will be held liable to pay all damages, necessary repairs and towing charges if he failed to adhere with the same.
It is strictly prohibited to drive in Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Yemen, Kuwait, etc.

19.Vehicle Condition & Tinting Glass: -

The Hirer must keep the hired vehicle in a clean, safe and sound condition otherwise charges may be applied. Tinting of vehicle’s window glass is not permitted for rented vehicles.

20.Regulatory Policy on, Water, Oil & Tire Pressure & Maintenance: -

Special or unleaded fuel is to be used.
It is the responsibility of the hirer to check water and oil levels as well as tires pressure from time to time and keep it maintained at such levels as expected as per the make of the car.
Any Kinds of damage of puncture to the tyre will be billed to hirer/Renters, any change in the same needs to be.
Please inform Honest Team or use the ‘Book A Service’ feature from our website to arrange an appointment with one of our service representatives. We will book your vehicle in for service and arrange a replacement vehicle.

21.Insurance Excess; -

If the rented vehicle is damaged in an accident while driving, the insurance excess payable is based on the results of the police report and the type of additional vehicle insurance the hirer availed when booking or hiring the vehicle. Basic insurance is already included in the rental price.
There is an Insurance Excess Deductible amount charged where the hirer is at fault or provided a police report for a hit and run case. The rate will differ between saloons, 4X4s, and commercial vehicles.
Any Kinds of damage of puncture to the tyre will be billed to hirer/Renters, any change in the same needs to be.
Upon an accident, if the driver is guilty, an excess fee would be charged according to the insurance company terms and conditions, i.e. 1000/AED of all the repairing costs, and the car rental company would be charged for the day's vehicle under repair.

22.Protection option: -

To be eligible for the CDW (Collision Damage Waiver) or SCDW (Super Collision Damage Waiver), the driver's license must be at least 6 months old.

COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW) - When you purchase Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), whatever excess liability is incurred will be limited to 50% of your deductible. (Payment of 50% of the insurance excess)
b) SUPER COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (SCDW) - When purchasing SCDW, the insurance excess liability is waived. (We will waive the 100% insurance excess.)
c) PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE (PAI) – When you purchase PAI, you'll have death and disability benefits provided to HRAC renters and their passengers, based on the seating capacity of the rented vehicle.

23.Value Added Tax (VAT): -

As confirmed and implemented by the UAE government, Honest Rent A Car LLC UAE reserves the right to add 5% Vat to all rates effective January 2018.

24.Additional Driver: -

Upon completing the necessary information, the additional driver can be added to the itinerary for 25 AED for an individual customer, and free of charge for the company.

25.Credit Card and Pre-Authorization: -

The security deposit gets collected from credit cards using a pre-authorization block. This is the safest and most recommended way for both parties, as the collected amount is automatically released by the bank after 29 days.

Payment terms are negotiated at the time of rental where credit card/Debit cards payment are accepted. Rental Charges will be collected in advance only and pre-authorization/charged for security deposit ids applicable.

Honest Rent A Car LLC UAE accepts all Credit Card, Debit Card, online payment and cash Credit card must be valid for a minimum of 3 months from the day of rental and must be physically available at the time of vehicle collection.

Note-The rental need to be the credit card holder or the credit card holder and the renter need to be present at the time for collection of the car at the office or delivery to sign the agreement. In the event the card holder policy is not fulfilled the reservation will be cancelled and 10% admin charge will be applicable and the remaining amount will be refunded.
